Les r\u00e9gimes dits \u00ab \u00e0 la mode \u00bb se succ\u00e8dent, chacun pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme plus efficace que le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Certains <strong>excluent <\/strong>presque totalement les <strong>glucides<\/strong>, d\u2019autres imposent une <strong>restriction <\/strong>calorique <strong>s\u00e9v\u00e8re<\/strong>, d\u2019autres encore proposent des p\u00e9riodes de <strong>je\u00fbne strict<\/strong> ou des <strong>cures d\u00e9toxifiantes<\/strong>. Malgr\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats parfois <strong>rapides au d\u00e9part<\/strong>, la majorit\u00e9 des personnes observent une <strong>reprise pond\u00e9rale<\/strong> \u00e0 moyen ou long terme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce <strong>constat <\/strong>ne rel\u00e8ve pas d\u2019un manque de motivation. Il s\u2019explique par des <strong>m\u00e9canismes biologiques<\/strong>, <strong>m\u00e9taboliques <\/strong>et <strong>psychologiques <\/strong>bien <strong>document\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019adaptation m\u00e9tabolique : une r\u00e9ponse naturelle du corps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque l\u2019<strong>apport \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique diminue brutalement<\/strong>, l\u2019<strong>organisme<\/strong> ne fonctionne pas comme une simple \u00e9quation math\u00e9matique. Il <strong>s\u2019adapte<\/strong>. Les <strong>concentrations de leptine<\/strong>, hormone impliqu\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9gulation de la sati\u00e9t\u00e9, <strong>peuvent diminuer<\/strong>, tandis que la <strong>ghr\u00e9line<\/strong>, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la <strong>faim<\/strong>, <strong>peut augmenter<\/strong>. Une part importante correspond \u00e0 la <strong>diminution des r\u00e9serves de glycog\u00e8ne h\u00e9patique<\/strong> et <strong>musculaire<\/strong>, lesquelles sont associ\u00e9es \u00e0 une <strong>quantit\u00e9 significative d\u2019eau<\/strong>. Cette perte hydrique explique la <strong>rapidit\u00e9 des premiers r\u00e9sultats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans certains cas, une <strong>r\u00e9duction de la masse musculaire<\/strong> survient \u00e9galement. Or, le tissu musculaire est m\u00e9taboliquement actif. Il participe \u00e0 la d\u00e9pense \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique quotidienne. Sa <strong>diminution <\/strong>entra\u00eene une <strong>baisse des besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques<\/strong> globaux. Il repose sur une <strong>r\u00e9duction tr\u00e8s importante des glucides<\/strong>, entra\u00eenant une <strong>production <\/strong>accrue de <strong>corps c\u00e9toniques<\/strong> et un \u00e9tat de c\u00e9tose nutritionnelle. Cette modification m\u00e9tabolique peut effectivement entra\u00eener une <strong>perte <\/strong>de <strong>poids rapide<\/strong>, notamment en raison de la <strong>r\u00e9duction des r\u00e9serves glycog\u00e9niques<\/strong> et de l\u2019<strong>effet<\/strong> <strong>sati\u00e9tog\u00e8ne <\/strong>des <strong>prot\u00e9ines <\/strong>et des <strong>lipides<\/strong>. Toutefois, ce type d\u2019alimentation est <strong>difficile \u00e0 maintenir<\/strong> sur le long terme et peut entra\u00eener des <strong>d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres nutritionnels<\/strong> s\u2019il n\u2019est pas encadr\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9gimes <strong>hyperprot\u00e9in\u00e9s <\/strong>suivent une logique similaire en favorisant une <strong>forte sati\u00e9t\u00e9<\/strong> et une <strong>restriction calorique indirecte<\/strong>. L\u00e0 encore, la <strong>perte <\/strong>de poids initiale peut \u00eatre <strong>marqu\u00e9e<\/strong>, mais la <strong>restriction reste importante<\/strong> et l\u2019<strong>adaptation m\u00e9tabolique survient<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>je\u00fbne intermittent<\/strong>, quant \u00e0 lui, repose sur une <strong>limitation temporelle des prises<\/strong> alimentaires. Il peut <strong>convenir <\/strong>\u00e0 certaines personnes lorsque les <strong>apports restent \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s<\/strong>, mais il devient <strong>probl\u00e9matique <\/strong>lorsqu\u2019il entra\u00eene une <strong>restriction excessive<\/strong> ou des <strong>compensations <\/strong>alimentaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <strong>cures d\u00e9tox<\/strong> et programmes tr\u00e8s <strong>hypocaloriques <\/strong>promettent souvent une \u00ab <strong>remise \u00e0 z\u00e9ro <\/strong>\u00bb de l\u2019organisme. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, les m\u00e9canismes de <strong>d\u00e9toxification <\/strong>sont assur\u00e9s en <strong>permanence <\/strong>par le <strong>foie <\/strong>et les <strong>reins<\/strong>. Une <strong>restriction s\u00e9v\u00e8re<\/strong> entra\u00eene surtout une <strong>perte hydrique et musculaire<\/strong>, <strong>sans b\u00e9n\u00e9fice durable<\/strong> sur le m\u00e9tabolisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces approches ne sont <strong>pas inefficaces \u00e0 court terme<\/strong>. Le <strong>sommeil <\/strong>joue un <strong>r\u00f4le majeur<\/strong> dans la r\u00e9gulation hormonale. Un manque chronique de sommeil perturbe les hormones de l\u2019app\u00e9tit et peut <strong>favoriser les comportements alimentaires impulsifs<\/strong>. Le <strong>stress chronique<\/strong>, via l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du <strong>cortisol<\/strong>, influence \u00e9galement le <strong>stockage \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique<\/strong> et les pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences alimentaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019environnement <strong>social<\/strong>, les <strong>habitudes familiales<\/strong>, les contraintes <strong>professionnelles <\/strong>et la <strong>relation \u00e9motionnelle <\/strong>\u00e0 l\u2019alimentation interviennent \u00e9galement. Un <strong>r\u00e9gime standardis\u00e9<\/strong> ne tient pas compte de ces dimensions. Cette tension favorise parfois des \u00e9pisodes de <strong>perte de contr\u00f4le alimentaire<\/strong>, suivis de <strong>culpabilit\u00e9 <\/strong>et d\u2019une <strong>reprise de restriction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce <strong>cycle fragilise<\/strong> progressivement la <strong>confiance <\/strong>envers les <strong>signaux <\/strong>internes de <strong>faim et de sati\u00e9t\u00e9<\/strong>.
